School Dance DJ FAQ

What’s required to book?
To reserve your date, we require a signed contract and a minimum 30% retainer. The final balance is due 10 calendar days before the event.
Do these packages work for both prom and homecoming?
Yes. Prom / HoCo Essential and Prom / HoCo Premier are designed for prom, homecoming, winter formal, and semi-formal events. We tailor music and pacing to match your theme and program.
What student count are these packages designed for?
Packages are designed for events with up to 150 students. If your attendance is higher, we’ll recommend the right sound coverage so the room feels even and loudness stays controlled.
Can you keep the music school-appropriate?
Absolutely. We keep it fun and current while respecting school guidelines. If you have standards, preferred genres, or a do-not-play list, we build around it.
Do you provide microphones for announcements?
Yes. Both packages include a wireless microphone for announcements. If your program is very structured, a dedicated host can be added for tighter pacing.
What’s the difference between Essential and Premier?
Both include DJ + MC hosting, premium sound, dance lighting, and uplighting. Premier adds intelligent moving head lighting, a dedicated lighting technician, and two TVs for visuals.
Can we add a photo booth?
Yes. Photo booths are a great fit for school dances. You can view school booth packages on our photo booth site, or ask us to recommend the best fit for your attendance and timeline.
Do you provide COIs and W-9s?
Yes. We can provide a Certificate of Insurance (COI) and W-9 upon request if your venue or school requires it.
